Not sure where they'll put the concerts physical location but the show needs to display a crowd of millions attending the concert. Not thousands but millions. They need to accurately display that there should be a massive amount of people in todays world if a vampire really came out. Lestat should be more popular than the most popular person in the world that you can think of IMO

I was having a recent conversation about the third season.

Lestat has way more motive to turn shit upside down than he did in the books.. This shit gonna be great.

I mean, the best parts of the movie Queen of the damned were the music and Akasha...

This crew might be able to put together better music with Sam actually being able to sing.

And the rock really isn't the focus.... It's just something the crew can have a whole lot of fun creating.

It's the consequences of a known vampire making such s public appearance.

With the talamasca show coming out this fall, some effective world building can be done in anticipation.

Basically the rock tour kicks off a war that damn near brings the apocalypse. I've said plenty of times, Akasha is a Thanos level threat
. This is the shit fans have really been waiting for

So her name is a change from the novels...

In the novels she's Gabrielle..... But the show is calling her Gabriella.


An early fan theory is that Gabriella was her Italian birth name, but her French husband forced Gabrielle on her to adapt to his lifestyle. And she changed it back to Gabriella as a means to reclaim who she was before him.... Which is super on code for the actual character but something not in the books.

If that's true, that's amazing insight to the plight of the character and a much deeper dig into her backstory that wasn't in the novels as well. I live the way they've been taking minor characters from the novels and giving them bigger roles in the show....

And the haven't missed yet.

Daniel and Santiago were very minor in the books, super under developed.... But the show made them both stand outs.... Gabriells is an extremely likable character from the books that i 100% can't wait to see what they've done with her..


Many fans wanted a stand alone book for her... seems like we might get that this third season
