AMC - Anne Rice's Talamasca: The Secret Order (CANCELED After 1 Season)

Added to Calendar: 10-26-25

That's interesting but I hope that means they aren't going to not have David in. He was actually really interesting to me
i don't think the shows will have a David.

I think they aged up Daniel and merged him with David. If we ever get to TOTBT that's possibly 6-7 years away....the show might not even run that long. so they likely just cut david out and are using Daniel to fill that void

Man they're really having fun messing with the fans on this roll out

Watching again. Even though the directors and producers different, this 100% feels like the same universe, it doesn't feel forced at all.

That first book coming out really shook up the entire universe.

I think I read somewhere that this takes place three years after Interview. Ill see if I can find it
They kinda created a plot hole.

Cuz in Mayfair season 2 the Talamasca was in a frenzy upon the release of the interview book...

but in the show, the Talamasca published the book AND added shit Daniel didn't cover.

They did a lot of info dropping in this episode. I might watch it a couple more times and do a reaction video

I thought they kinda implied there were like different sects of the Talamasca.. so both could be true

I meant them adding that page
yea, they seem to interfere a lot in this show.....

like even meeting the vampire, brining him his ring, and introducing him to the recruit seems very anti-talamascan. this show is defeitly different. I'm all for it, but that alone was wild

also publishing the book....that was crazy

In the show though didn't they say they don't interfere? So they say that but then it shows they really do interfere

i think the common theme so far being established is that they can't be trusted and have hidden nefarious plans...

like look at the 2nd season of mayfair witches, those agents were definitely interfering heavy

They say it'll play in the background of episode 5.

I might do my own reaction video this weekend

I thought Keves was going to be around for a bit or was somehow connected to the mother house. So much for that lol
