Well, since he is African.........I would think he would have more of an idea of how......African.......people feel about us.........than people in the states who...........aren't African.


He didn't say anything groundbreaking or earth-shattering.


What he said shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.


I wouldn't expect them to care about us.

No, I'm just saying that............being from Africa..........he's probably more in tune with how other Africans feel about us.


Plus, what he said is consistent with what we already thought anyway based on our interactions with them.

You're still being way to general. lol Africa is a whole continent. Akon being from Sengal doesn't give him anymore insight on how someone from Kenya or Rwanda or Eritrea feels about African Americans than being from anywhere else. Akon can only speak for himself and for Africans that think like him. Who knows how common his line of thinking is across the continent.

And i'm saying that Africa is a continent with thousands of different languages and cultures and views so to think 1 person can speak for the entire continent or is in tune with how the entire continent thinks is stupid. You just admitted to believing him because of confirmation bias. He said some shit you already "thought" to be true so now you're running with it
