AEW just announced Bryan Danielson will be returning to the ring this Wednesday against Daniel Garcia at AEW Dynamite - Fight for the Fallen 2022 on TBS.
As I reported earlier today on my Elite Hotline, there had been talk Danielson was getting closer to returning and at one point, he was expected to be in attendance at last week's Dynamite. Danielson was training in the ring earlier this week in California.
Danielson had been out of action with what was believed to be a concussion after the Anarchy in the Arena match several months back with AEW President Tony Khan noting he didn't want Danielson back in the ring until he was "feeling 100% a 100% of the time", which is why Danielson missed the Forbidden Door PPV.
The updated Dynamite lineup for Fight for the Fallen 2022 on TBS:
*AEW Interim Champion Jon Moxley vs. former ROH Champion Rush.
*AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa vs. Tokyo Joshi Pro's Miyu Yamashita.
*FTW Champion Ricky Starks vs. Danhausen.
*Bryan Danielson returns to the ring vs. Daniel Garcia.
*Handicap match: AEW Tag Team Champion Swerve Strickland vs. Tony Nese & Smart Mark Sterling with AEW Tag Team Champion Keith Lee banned from ringside.
