The All Elite Wrestling knocks the minds of many American people. Owner of the wrestling promotion Shahid Khan, his son Tony along with the main investor joined hands to create this production. And professional wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Matt and Nick Jackson are the first to enjoy this new wresling club! They are among the main talents to expect in the All Elite Wrestling company. But what is it all about?
How did this begin? -All thanks to a journalist.
Dave Meltzer, a journalist made a statement that a non-WWE company could not sell 10,000 tickets for a wrestling event. Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks (as the Jacksons are known) replied to this statement since they were top stars and good friends. Both began an independent wrestling affair called All In event in September 2018. This featured wrestlers from Ring of Honor among other promotions. What was so exciting about it, is that the show was sold out in 30 minutes! Their audience was a massive 11,263 people! It hit the minds of Cody and The Young Bucks to develop and create their own professional wrestling promotion. They kicked off with the Double Or Nothing event and people loved it.
The process…
Cody and The Young Bucks left Ring of Honor as they made an official agreement for their company. They signed with the promotion and served the All Elite Wrestling. As for Tony, he became the president of the company. The billionaire Khans were supporting the promotion. All Elite Wrestling set foot in the media right and a British media company to record the show on ITV4. It started with Double or Nothing on May 25, 2019. The show occurred at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and saw the debut of Jon Moxley. Dave Meltzer stated, "after just one show", AEW is already "the hottest non-WWE force in the U.S. pro wrestling business in more than 20 years".
All Elite Wrestling reached its popularity! Wrestling has always been an entertaining sport combined with throws, takedowns, joint locks… the list is long, guys! This show was actually lit. I expected it to be a toned down version because it was free and for a cause but shit those last 3 matches were dope asf, I could watch Bucks vs Pentagon Jr and Felix for days they literally have the best chemistry in wrestling. Ambrose and Janela was wild and actually what I was hoping for with the return of the Moxley character. That was a perfect introduction match for him. And like somebody said JR was good all night here.
