What's with all the congrats comments? Shit is about to get real for you. You don't really know a person until you have lived with them for at least a year. People still keep up appearances those first 6 months.

It also depends on who moved in with who or if this was a mutual new place.

You will notice more farts for sure and how often they clean (in general). This will apply to you as well for them.

The worst part is self reflection though. Having someone constantly in all your spaces will have you reflect on yourself a bit more. What are my real values? Do I really care about changing toothpaste brands? No more Burger King ever? Things like that.

Don't ever leave the toilet seat up because yo girl will fall into the toilet late at night or when she's on the phone . Make sure your draws don't have skids marks because she will be checking. Leave all your bad habits because she will be monitoring your every move . Stay clean my brotha , do not be a funky butt
 
I've been living with my girl for the past year and just re-upd for another and lemme tell you.........I ________ it!!!

I left the space blank becuz it literally changes from love to hate back to love back to hate DAILY 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I think for the most part we're good when we communicate like other posters have said is necessary but I also feel there is a stubbornness from both of us to not change for the other on certain things(we're both over 40) so that's the main struggle we're dealing with atm....also I think this is her first time living with a man whereas she's my 4th or 5th female "roommate" so the adjustment process for both of us is just different but if you communicate early and often and both are open to adjust it should work... throw in good food and sex and stay on point financially wit the bills and it should prosper.

Respect each others privacy. Respect each others personal space. Make sure other people respect yall quality time. Also...make sure them same people respect yall home. Respect the fact that yall are two grown azzz adults and not treat the other like a child.

Since you're moving in with her...make sure she understands that she's SHARING her establishment with you. Meaning...yall get into an argument (you will) and she doesn't throw the "This is MY house!" in your face. Don't get sold on the idea that everything is gonna be shared. B/c when those rough patches comes...she could revert back to her invidiualistics ways. If this happens on more than one occasion...ITS OK to bounce.

Another IP360 advice....CLEAN!!!! Don't have yall space lookin like a pig sty. In and out the bedroom. Yall females man...smh. I'm just gonna leave it at that. Lol!

Other than that...

- Compromise
- Date night as often as you can
- Make sure house bills straight

Just enjoy each other and respect each other. Not sure how you all deal with phone convos, don't be all in her mouth watching her while she's on the phone lol, and vice versa, she shouldn't be all in your mouth watching you while you're on your phone. Shit can be annoying as fuck

When I wake up early in the gat damn morning...there is no kiss! There is no conversation! I drag my sleepy azzz out the room. Pack my shyt. Sit on the recliner to salvage whatever sleep I can get w/n the 7 or so mins before leaving.
