That's a good spin, and it still comes down to whether it's just a jumpoff or something you thought you was going to wife. Let's assume the latter.

I feel like in a relationship, there's a very basic responsibility: For a man, you are supposed to protect and preserve her emotions above all else. Yeah provide and all that comes with it, but making sure she's emotionally cared for is at the forefront.

Inversely, for a woman it's probably to protect and preserve the man's ego. We want to feel respected, admired, appreciated.

To me I view the same as knowing she had sweaters from past boyfriends and I’m in some sort of connection with her. She has a few of my sweaters from chilling at my spot. One day I see her in a sweater that clearly used to belong to another nigga. Ion care.
