This lil fucktard been flying up to all the windows on both sides of the crib for the last week or so just pecking at 'em like it's trying to get inside. It was at my bedroom window early as shit in the morning yesterday just tapping like it lost its fuckin mind.

My son was born today.

First post since January I think. Been a very rough year so far. In and out of the hospital. Almost lost him a couple times. Almost lost my girl a couple times. Was admitted to the hospital on Sunday due to blood pressure issues and the plan was to stay until a planned C section in July. Got her BP controlled and okay for Sunday night and Monday, but today she spiked and they put her on every oral and IV med they could and had her going through hell with no success at keeping her BP controlled. Decided to do an emergency C Section before it got too bad.

Little man was born at 31 weeks exactly. Despite the circumstances, hes doing amazing. Breathing on his own, but they have him on a CPAP for deep breathes. Got him hooked up to a feeding tube and in a little incubator thing trying to recreate his life in the womb. My girl is doing well and recovering from surgery but everything went perfectly. Will follow up with her soon but sitting here in the NICU just watching the little guy breathe and relax. He's pretty chill due to all the meds his mom was on but will be a lot more active in the next couple of days. As for right now the plan is to stay in the NICU with him for probably 6 weeks or so and let him grow some before we take him home. Will share some better pics when we can get some light in this room, but for now they're trying to keep the light low and the noise low.

With the chaos these last 5 months have been we haven't had hardly any chance to get him any stuff to prepare so will thankfully have some weeks ahead of us for his mom to heal up and go look for stuff to bring little man home.
