Im the production manager at a payroll company.....we're in payroll, HR, time and attendance, tax compliance, etc.

I handle all the printing, sealing, shipping, and tracking of checks. Order and stock all printer supplies and do all the printer maintenance.

A few other random clerical tasks but that the summary.

I have a really good thing going, not really looking into leaving anytime soon. Great benefits for the family, 120 hrs PTO every year that can be used or sold back, on top of being able to take off for anything I need to do...never been told no once...never been drug tested, I honestly dont believe they did a background....they're the ones that got me out of jail tho.....and brought my ass straight to work.....went from the cell to the desk in an hour, still funky w/ a scraggly beard and the clothes I had on when i went in (white tagless tee and jeans).....to me thats just love....could never forget that

aside from all that I have my own office that very few people in the building have access too (key card).......that comes with its own set of perks lol

the wife's business is good....all I gotta do is work on more supplemental income but there's no good reason to fuck this run up

im 8 yrs in.....I see a good 15 at least and (dont tell nobody) I will probably be able to "retire".......or just not have to work every day in other words

my bad...completely missed this

welp....the whole white/black thing never mattered to me.....I've been with plenty of black women and my wife wasnt the first white woman I've been with by far

we've known each other since 7th grade.....she was always cool and quiet....star basketball player and straight A's

when I broke free I was sittin at my mama's house literally just scrolling FB and saw something she posted....I commented on it....she was like oh shit "_____"? whattup?

we started talking and kickin it......had me riding out to the country to see her.

she was managing her family's business and was super stressed out all the time and getting run over, I was going thru not seeing my child and having just lost everything I owned but my car.....and idk if it was just the friends in us or what but we kinda started building each other back up

I convinced her to leave and open her own business....she was terrified but finally did it....shits been great and she never looked back.....her folks didnt talk to her for almost a year tho

she was a big aid in me getting my daughter back.....she was all the way in Texas with me fighting for my baby before we were even official, and her grandmother passed while we were in court....that was a long ass ride back

shit was just new for both of us...neither had ever had that type of friend or support in our corners....on top of her being smart as fuck and a damn good cook......cool country girl, loves b ball and music, down for me and mine, can keep the IRS off me AND make 5 cheese manicotti from scratch???

it wasnt long before I was thinking I needed to lock that down asap

How did yall families/friends feel about yall dating outside the race? Any bad experiences in public or socially for being an interracial couple?

my people aint never had anything to say about anybody I dated.....they all told me to get a DNA test when the bm got pregnant but that was it lol

her family tripped.....her mom and moms husband were the ones she was working for....she ran their whole operation, even the house bills....so when she left they actually had to work and pay attention to their own shit.....so they were already pissed with her about that....then she secretly gets married all of a sudden (we did justice of the peace...real quick and quiet.....said we'd throw the money at it once we make it 5 years)....so they were done...again, didnt speak to her for almost a year....I started calling them and telling them about themselves and they finally came around for her

her real dad was done too.....actually said black men only want white women for trophies.....i said "IM THE MUTHAFUCKIN TROPHY" lmao

he finally came around too right before he passed smh.....im sure he still hated me but I was there...for her......watched him get rolled out his hospital room to get bagged

all her sisters are/were cool......they're all country as shit and got wack ass husbands so im lookin like Prince Hakeem over here

NOW, she swears her mama has traded her for me cuz she's always cooking stuff for me or saving something for me or making a extra batch and setting it aside...she says she never got that lol


we've gotten little shit here and there.....mostly black women and white men, obviously.......eye rolls, mugs, teeth smacks, etc but nobody has actually come up and said anything......she says customers have come in her office and said slick shit when they see the mixed kids pics everywhere.....and on the other hand she says it gives other black guys some kinda sign like hey I like black!! lol...they always try to holla.....ring on, kids and all

I'll be pissed off about another police killing or something and while I can share...I really cant....its not the same, doesnt have the same impact

I have a lot of black friends that go hard on whites in posts and shit on fb that i gotta kinda reiterate....and some people on her shit post and say shit i dont like and we'll talk about it or I'll delete the shit or whatever

most of it has nothing to do with us tho.....just this mess around us....we'd be just fine if turned the tvs and phones in and moved up in some mountains

to my surprise.....no.....I think once I showed up with lawyers in tow she knew shit was real lol

they ate her ass alive in court...she was so focused on trying to throw mud on me she forgot the part about proving she was a good parent

it was no contest

her lawyer never got fully paid and came to court just to drop her, and she stopped showing up

after the last hearing the judge called the sheriffs office from the bench and personally told them to meet me and we went and got my baby

she was awarded supervised visitations and we havent seen or heard from her in like 3 years

wife and I just finalized the adoption a couple months ago......nobody could even find ol girl to be served with papers for that

think she's locked up somewhere but I couldnt find her
