Nah, it was a first person perspective space shooter. the special numeric pad that came with it had an overlay for the ships controls.



Star Raiders was the inspiration for Elite and the Wing Commander series.

I'd want a Vectrex now just to play it. I fuckin loved that thing. Had something like 13-14 games for it too and all the screen overlays.

Lmfao. Duke my first system I played on was coleco vision and my remote control for my tv was wired(that might have been the cable box). What I grew up with I'm considered old my G lol
 
Just turned 29.

No suprise that there arent many people under 25 though. Thats the social media generation, they aint fucking with forums.
 
I remember when folks were Roasting Hassan and Cain for their age for like 10 pages in a thread on the IC. The thread wasnt even about those two but it ended up having some of the funniest old people jokes ive ever seen in my life.
