He gave a really good thought experiment for how we only see what we predetermined to notice. He even said, cause,..he told dude to notice everything in the room that’s brown.
Then told him to tell him the things that are red. Which of course he didn’t notice, then he said, I bet you even bend the rules and made tan things and deep burgundy things brown, just to feel right.
So I took that and today and made an effort only to notice good things, best and most fulfilling day I’ve had in years and nothing of note even happened.
