You can’t have an objective argument when it comes to music which is subjective

Beyoncé may have more pop/club appeal than Sade

But Beyoncé’s music never struck me as interesting or appealing as Sade

I have yet to hear a Beyoncé song that sounds sweeter than Sweetest Taboo
That's cool. You're in the minority but that's cool

I have yet to hear a Sade record that's sounds better Rocket🤷🏿‍♂️

its that nigga @CAP 3.0 fault lol

You know gotdamn well one persons music is timeless and the others aint
Yeah...Beyoncé

We gotta stop pretending like the average listener can name or recognize more than 5 songs from Sade.

2 timeless records won't cut it

Of course the average listener won’t know more than 5 Sade songs because Sade is far from this generation of music

That’s like me asking the average listener if they know who David Ruffin is

Man what lol?

I’m saying that the average listener today probably won’t know more than 5 Sade songs because she isn’t as active today. She’s far from this generation of listeners. A smaller group would probably know her work….

Same as David Ruffin….most people today who are really into todays music won’t know who he is unless they really study

Which is it bro...is Sade timeless and the creme of the crop or is she far removed from today's listeners that she cant be be talked about today

Ruffin about 2 decades in front of Sade, but I get what you're saying lol.

Any legend can be talked about today….but who do you think would be able to quickly identify someone like for example….Nas?

Niggas who GREW UP listening to him in the 90’s-00’s

Or younger cats who just listen to “If I Rule The World” when it comes on the radio today and that’s it?
