After Sesame Street the real cartoons came on and Mr Rogers didn't measure up to those
I never watched it in my youth either, but I was aware of it. Pop culture references have made me even more familiar with it.
It ain't gonna be a real movie unless this happens:

Man he came on when Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck and Ninja Turtles were on, compared to those he didn't stand a chance having my attention

Mr. Rogers was the most boring, entertaining show on PBS. I still dk why I watched it, but I did every weekday after school.
