Her lying isn't really a good excuse. As someone in entertainment, he was expected to be more diligent.
I agree he should get a very light sentence, but more so because i dont believe there is actually any benefit to punishing people so far away from the actual crime. Psychologists have shown that punishment has to be swift to be effective. Right now, even though ppl don't like it, he is being punished by going through the system, even if he's technically free, since The Process is the Punishment.
Wtf is jail going to do besides further desensitize, criminalize, and militarize him?
