Yeah 50s run wasn't as long as some people remember. When him and Kanye did the whole battle over album sales I remember that 50 album had gotten pushed back quite a few times because the lead singles kept flopping until he dropped I Get Money and that was in 07. So basically after his 2nd album alot of people had moved on from caring about 50 musically.

Curtis was supposed to drop in the beginning of 2007 then it got a pushed back to the middle of 2007 cause 50 Cent had advertisements with GM (General Motors ) with Pontiac G6 and G8 and Transformers was dropping in July with an ad saying Curtis Album was dropping in July 2007 , I remember it was in July 2007 Maxim with Megan Fox on the cover.

I look at the impact that the artist had on hip-hop in their prime, the quality of albums, longevity, etc., Idgaf about sales b/c none of it was going in my pockets. It's ironic that sales was bought up b/c 50 started all that sales shit and then his sales start tanking with every new album he dropped.
