I was 6 when Rapper's Delight came out and I vividly remember going to the store with my older brother and my mother to buy the record.
I recognized that they were rapping over Good Times and I could understand the lyrics.
It was a wrap from that point.
I graduated in the summer of 91, the same summer as OPP, My Minds Playin Tricks On Me and the Niggas4life album.

Anytime someone shits on the 2000s those are the main albums that I use to counter their point. A lot of bullshit came out but there were a lot of amazing music between 2000-2009.
I don't care what other people think about my taste in music.
Alot of great albums came out in the late 80s, especially the summer of 88.
