Seems to me a lot of media outlets are quicker to criticize and blame the side guys these days than the stars. I'm not saying that Wemby had a bad game, but I feel like in the past they would have at least acknowledged the dropoff in production between game 1 and game 2. Sure, some might say it's not reasonable to expect Wemby to give back 2 back performances like he did in game 1, but the rhetoric after game 1 was stuff like "This game proves Wemby was the real MVP" and "This is Wemby's first step in his case towards being the GOAT." So is it really unreasonable?

Basically sports media is trash these days.

That's fair. That's a good stat line, but he didn't feel that pivotal in this game to me. Maybe I'm just being overly influenced by what he did in the first game.
