Play in is here to stay. I get it.

It still won't fix 1v8 first round beatdowns. That heats vs bucks shit was an anomaly.

I don't think thats the goal I'd actually argue it's set up to give the no1-2 seeds an advantage.

The only tweak they need to make is eliminate the 10 seed and just make it an 8/9 game for the 8th seed( and only if 8 and 9 is within 2 or 3 games of each other)....7 seeds shouldn't have to go through this bullshit to prove they belong and no 10 seed deserves the right to play for a way into the playoffs only to get blown out a week later by a better team anyway

They probably won’t change it but teams with the 10th best record in their conference having a chance to play in for a playoff spot has never sat right with me.

explain please
Having teams play extra games with little to no recovery time or time to plan against a no1-2 seed that has had a week off is a tactical advantage. The situation doesn't favor those teams to make an upset at all it furthers the gap.

The nba doesn't want to see the phoenix suns beat okc or the Orlando magic beat the Pistons. They want their best teams with the best players to go on deep runs. This isn't ncaa, cinderellas don't push ratings like that in the nba.

I just noticed this prime nba thing called nightcap.

Sharpe need to Holla lol...
