Either the two guys who skipped summer league are coming off the bench after the season they both had

Or

You gonna have shitty frontcourt defense and not shooting in your lineup

It’s either getting shot in stomach or being hit by a car

I say that to say that’s the lineup people would expect for making sense but idk how probable it is

Quite the picke the organization is in from not just simply moving zion

I'm not saying you're wrong but we have to go off the information that we've been given

There is a trade off with all the other possible starting combinations as well

Do you start Queen and sit Missi? Do you start someone else in lieu of Jones or Murphy?

I don't think they are getting rid of Zion which would open up the flexibility you are heading towards.

I'ma strong advocate of continuity so they need a lineup they are going to start with every night. The other option would be to let the opponents dictate who you start but than that will create issues

Is the goal for the Pelcians this season to win as many games as possible and try yo make the playoffs?

You guys are clearly trying to win so the lineup you said would naturally make sense and is ultimately the right thing to do

But to make the trade for Queen and to have him come off the bench looks nuts

But I mean it could be until the deadline I guess when you can unload freaky Z or TM3

Agreed

Maybe they are banking on what they deem to be better offers around the trade deadline. Maybe they didn't like what has been out there so far for Summer free agency

Thats an extremely tough situation to be in and why this two timeline thing rarely works just a too much of a conflict of interest

Pels obviously have talent but they have such a slim margin for error or something going wrong...like you almost need a perfect season of health and development from everyone to make the playoffs/playin

Plus you have Jamahl Mosely leading the charge now which I do think he's going to do some positive things and he is better than Willie Green but its just the overall lack of direction that make no sense

Either trade these vets and give Fears/Queen the runway to succeed and see what they can do....or try to build a team that actually fits together if you're trying to win


Just sitting in limbo and hoping things workout for the best running back the same team is genuinely insane to me

I said this when I was on the whole Jalen Brown sweepstakes

This team is not doing nothing, either they will be ass or a shock to the NBA, being in 3rd or 4th place at the end of December.

I think the miss on Jalen is something I will look back on. Jalen and Zion with Fears and even trying to get Reeves, getting off Murray and Poole, and Trey.

Start over, these dudes just out here, Poole don't take shit serious and Murray wants to stat pad now, he's not a winner.
