2026 NBA Offseason Thread

Just like the league is clamoring and lining up to trade for a 6th man shooting guard who thinks hes a number 1 option and is on an expiring contract lol

Sure you can come up with better trades but they aren't realistic and dont make sense

Im talking about things that are actually plausible and would make sense for both teams

Plenty of teams could off a better package of pick, prospect, matching salary....but how many would do that for Tyler Herro?

You're acting like its an outlandish trade scenario and teams should be willing to give up multiple premium assets for an expiring Herro contract lol
I didn’t say it’s outlandish I just said I could find better players around that pick than Duncan and holland

You can’t convince me to take Ron holland right now fam lol

Brice sensabaugh and cam Spencer >>>

You arent looking at it realistcally or objectively and thats the problem

Are the Jazz trading for Herro? Are the Grizz trading for Herro?

You're adamant about this so find me a a team that

Is willing to start Tyler Herro
Pay Tyler Herro
Give up assets for Tyler Herro

You're acting like Milwaukee has a ton of leverage and can demand certain assets for a player who is EXPIRING and the league clearly doesnt value or like that much

I was just naming better players than holland for example

Worst case scenario Herro can walk without a deal

He’s most likely not in the long term plans

Holland not it big dog

Ima keep telling you the same thing lol

So you would rather let Herro walk for nothing than get an unprotected pick and a young prospect in Holland?

Im not acting like Holland is some top tier prospect but Herro doesnt warrant giving up one either...Holland just turned 21 yesterday lol

That would be horrible asset management after a Giannis trade

No I’m saying if they couldn’t find a suitable trade for Tyler for whatever reason and he walked it wouldn’t matter too much long term

A missed opportunity? Sure

but crippling?

But yes if I can’t find nothing else out there then I would be forced to have to look at Ron holland everyday

Yeah its not crippling but its absolutely Arturas Karnisovas levels of bad asset management

Even if you don't like Holland the smart asset play is take the flyer on the 21 year old on a rookie scale deal, he might help your or you can maybe flip in a different deal......worst case scenario you let him walk after his rookie deal is up and just simply dont pay him. We're talking about the Milwaukee Bucks here who need as many bites at the apple as possible when it comes to cheap young talent with upside

I agree

Okay man you broke me down (pause)

If I can’t find ANY other offers I’ll take Ron holland in a deal
