2026 NBA Offseason Thread

Lol you sound nuts

I’m outside though so I’m not going to reply to all of this

You understand

You good lil bro. Run along and play with someone safe. Enjoy your day.

Anybody who’s game is predicated on athleticism will be less and less reliable as the years go on

Italking about Zach lavine’s mileage as a jump shooting scorer and ignoring Giannis’ mortality as a player is crazy

It’s not giannis or bust for miami

If we don’t trade for him we will just have more assets in the future

Duren paired with Matas, Wilson, and Giddey is yuck

Who else is going for Duren?

I agree...not the cleanest fit but its not like they're trying to be good right now, what else is Chicago doing with their cap space and they need a center

I would take 15 straight up for Duren straight up if I was Detroit....let the Bulls pay him 30 mil a year

You back?

Yeah you pressed. Lmao.

Giannis game isn't predicated on athleticism as much as it's predicated on power and force. He's 7ft tall. He doesn't need to jump out the gym to beat you he just happens to be able to.

He's not Blake Griffin or zach lavine.

Pretending he's on the cusp of cataclysmic injury or athletic decline when he's been remarkably durable throughout his career to justify your team lowballing the offer while simultaneously pretending you couldn't careless is hilarious.

I wouldn't be mad at this depending on who's still available at 21.

Not a glamorous trade but we create some room on the cap sheet and get 2 good by the margins role guys and a player at 21. Plus that second round pick could produce value. We kinda know after how he dealt with the cavs defense we're not resigning Ingram. Definitely not at 40 +

Luckily the bulls have new management and don’t need to do this lol

I’m just taking a C with my 15th pick and ima chill

Lol not pressed at all just giving you a response because you’re my son

You don’t know how giannis is going to age

I could understand if he was healthy the past few seasons and leading his team to some level of success but it’s been bad for 3 seasons now

You talking about his health or the bucks as a team?

I can dispute both.

His 36 gms played this year was an outlier. He didn't care to play and they didn't want to risk him getting hurt if they couldn't change his mind on his trade demand. He played 67 games last year and 73 the year before that.

Bucks were 4th in the east and 2nd in those years respectively. Its not like they were a lottery team they were considered a contender in the east until lilliard tore his acl.

I’m talking about Giannis the past 4 seasons in totality

As a top 5 player he has constantly let them down when it mattered most

Not his fault either but facts is facts

He’s naturally getting older

How do teams know he can still be relied on in the manner he was when they haven’t seen it in a min? At his age and in the years to come? Which points to the trade offers and why the bucks took too long to try and move him

When he was a consistent mvp candidate? What tf are we talking about bro? We really devaluing giannis who as been a consistent mvp, all nba and dpoy candidate with no critical injury history at 31 cause pat wanna lowball?

You gonna make me get disrespectful when I got love for you bro.

You still talking about regular season stuff bro

I’m not saying he’s not still a top 5 player

The Heat or another team trading for him have to make sure he’s still really effective in 2+ years if they gonna give up hypothetically a combo made up of:

Herro
Jaquez
Ware
Larrson
Kasparas
13th pick
Another pick
Another pick
Jovic

Etc

That’s all their assets

Herro - a guy that can give you 20 but is giving up 25 and wants to be paid 40mil
Jaquez - upper echelon bum
Ware - could be nice in right situation
Larrson - bum
Kasparas - good back up potential
13th pick - might get a decent player
Another pick - probably worst than last
Another pick - see above
Jovic - expensive bum

Etc

That’s all their assets

That is not a good offer for a top 5 player. At least with Boston you're getting a top 15-20 player back that you could flip for more assets if you're Milwaukee. Boston got you wiped down the hold up is them looking at your teams offer like "wtf hold Derrick white, sam Hauser, queta, hugo and some picks. Why would we trade yall jaylen brown and picks when that's what miami is putting on the table?"
