50 mil fucking up a title run ain't no better. Unless they give away assets, they are stuck with him. Harper is too good to be coming off the bench, and you really can't tell if he's trying to do that again. I'm saying announce it now to settle your fams down, and if you can luckily find a trader for Fox, pull the trigger. This is more of a PR thing just to stop the negative chatter around the team. Fox off the bench would be fire tho.

I get it but 2 things that should be considered

Fox is the best playmaker they had which is why he had to play

Castle and Harper don’t do it as well as him

He played hurt so you had to give him a bit of grace as an organization

All true. I'm just speculating, but Harper ain't trying to come off the bench again. Also, I'm mostly thinking from an Owner's POV. Public discourse can divide a locker room. Spurs fans hate Fox and love Harper rn. Not the end of the world or uncommon. I just feel like a nice public relations run could do wonders for their offseason.

Both of these players are extremely flawed and but also give the Spurs exactly what the Spurs need and the Spurs cover all their flaws.

Sabonis especially. Say what you want about him, but he is one of the best play makers at his size, an elite rebounder, and can stretch the floor.

Kings won't do it cause they won't want fox back.

But Sabonis is the exact player the Spurs need.

I dont think the Spurs need Sabonis at all.....they need legit 6"8-6"9 4 who can defend big wings on the perimeter


Fox and 2 picks wont get Lauri either........Fox and 2 picks is if you just simply want to get off his money and dump him somewhere......you want Lauri too? Thars going to cost an additional 2-3 picks or Devin Vassell in place of one of those picks

I’m glad they are caught in this conundrum. First the draft was rigged for them to bolster the roster around wemby and then they cough up Ws in the finals. Fuck them and that goof coyote mascot
