Lost in all of this is that the league attempted to take the rubber off on the Knicks in 4 of the 5 games. As much as the Knicks saved them with the ratings, they also saved them from the backlash had they not pulled out 3 of those 4 games.

NBA embarrassed themselves. Most watched finals since the Jordan years and the refs were ass.

I'm not saying there was conspiracies.

But if you thought the NBA was using refs to extend series, this series proved it for you.

If you thought that the refs in the NBA were just ass, this series proved it for you.

This was a good ass finals with every game being close and the whole discussion was around the refs.

NBA need to do better.

I'm still not saying anything like Silver put the call in or anything, but the reffing was fucking horrible and super one sided.
