2026: Back to the randomness

It definitely hasn't surpassed mothers day but it's good to see people making it a more important day other than just gifting the father a card or something

I think it bugged a lot of people how fathers day was pretty much ignored while also being in men's mental heath awareness month. Though men's mental heath is still pretty much ignored

This has changed alot over the years. It is not so much as men's mental health is ignored but many men themselves ignore their own mental health.

I remember in college I peeped just how much of a trap "special days" were for chicks. A dude could be a complete piece of shit to his lady for the majority of the days of the year, but if he went all out for her birthday, Valentine's Day, their anniversary, and Christmas, all was good. That was the M.O. for some of my homeboys.

I've always been the opposite. I'm going to treat you as well as I can everyday. I probably ain't doing anything special for those particular days, and if I do, it won't be the level of some other dudes. Let me tell you. That does not go over as well. lol I think my wife was the first woman to actually appreciate that. Hence why she's my wife now.
Same.... Exactly the fucking same

You don't think it's one in the same?
Though my experiences, mad women are concerned and urge black men to go to therapy. Almost to s point that they are annoyed that men don't and go to therapists....

So if anybody is ignoring it, it's the men themselves. They lash out on social media, and when the real concern to see someone comes up, they get defensive and try to joke like... What cuz I gotta unpopular opinion I need mental therapy... Foh.

Or you got niggas like Shaq saying you can't open up

What do you mean?
When we were growing up, basic date restaurants were like Olive Garden, Applebee, Outback.

Brick and mortar joints that were separate but operated in an ecosystem of entities meant to capitalize on doing a bunch of things in one centralized location. But that separateness of the building made it feel like something significant.

Now, women take themselves out on day dates to restaurants that are in strip malls. Couples go on dates in restaurants that are in strip malls.

Strip malls restaurants used to be primarily Chinese stores, or the black upstart that just needed a store front.

Now when people open restaurants, it’s in a strip mall. To the extent that even some of the big names just rent out strip mall space and put their business there.

It’s moving more and more away from the stand alone location. So the overall social perspective of the strip mall is changing. From how we viewed it in the 90’s to what’s its becoming now.

Nope. Saying men's health is ignored means that there are little to no resources to help.

Saying it is a person ignoring their own mental health does not mean there are no resources to help them.
I agree. Help being there isn't the same as the person taking the help but I didn't mean that. My bad for the bad word choice

Damn at what’s happening in Canada.

Cops getting dropped by some dude in camo. Female officer shoots cilivan who walked up on her, her thinking it was the terrorist. Then the dude walks her down it looked like. Wild shit.

I don’t know if it bothers anyone else.

But on the song “Freak A Leak!”

Petey Pablo said “do you want it over here, do you want it over there, do you want it in ya pussy, do you want it in your ass?”

And it bothers me so much that he didn’t say “do you want it in your rear?”

Like..it was right there fam
:niggaa:

Everytime I hear that shit it makes my skin crawl
