You assume a lot.
- Age & Gender: Young males (18-35) are a high-risk group, and college students show high rates of problem gambling.
- Socioeconomic Status: Lower socioeconomic status is linked to higher risk.
When you look at the state of weed addiction and how it has become extremely strong due to the level of tolerance by its users.
Look back at the conditions that created it. Its influence and promotion was heavily aimed at the young and the those from lower socioeconomic group. One of its most potent promotional tools was hip hop
The severity of it flew under the radar because like I said. For the previous generations. It wasn’t perceived as that bad. For the generation it heavily affected it was promoted heavily to those demographics.
Now it’s potency is through the roof and those generations look at their addictions as not what they are but just indulging.
Like how the previous generations before weed became alcoholics. Notice that drinking for the current young generation is down. So is weed smoking. There’s a component to certain societies that need a lower class to function. Needs a certain class of people to be at a certain level.
How you create that, is you foster it covertly. I learned this in sociology and psychology. Not on tiktok. And it’s clear as day, the gambling is th drug of choice promoted to those groups. Young men, from certain social climates.
Look no further than how they promote it and who they use to promote it. It’s very clear. Now, you may feel a way because you smoke weed and you feel in some way attacked because I’ve called it out as having a negative effect on a demographic you come from.
If you don’t feel that way about your use. I’m not talking about you. But objectively everything I’ve said is truth and can be backed up with statistics
