My first book was horrible, after growth and introspection, I went back and read it and damn it’s bad. I apologize that you purchased it. I took it down and will rewrite it better.
I say that to say. Don’t write the story but create the world as you go and feel inspiration.
In a sense write their bio like how they do in video games to make the characters make sense, before you are introduced to the world. If you do it that way, by the time you write the book. It will all fall together like speaking about friends you have known for years
