Life from an adult man’s perspective. Not necessary to much of anything. Objective, accepting, understanding, strategic, mindful, self actualizing from a perspective I may not be able to control life but i can find my place and live it. Even if it doesn’t mean that I’m at the pinnacle of what most would consider the mountain top of everything, im on the climb to my highest place.

I think all the rappers I posted make music from that perspective. And it’s not overly misogynistic and if and when it is, it does so self depreciatingly.

I think it's more reflective. I think they can still approach crime/drug/violence oriented subject matter. It's just how they do it. Young people fresh off the street tend to make music more as if they are still in that lifestyle where older dudes make music about having been in that lifestyle and what it meant or what consequences came out of it.
 
Any older rappers paired with a younger one with the younger one talking about this and that crime/violence/etc and the older one talking him out of it or something?

I do not like the fact that when they do AIDS commercials, they have actors that people think would stereotypically have AIDS.

They have the black woman that’s not conventionally attractive and try to imply that she got AIDS cause low confidence had her sleep with some dirty dudes that had the disease.

Then they have the feminine Asian or Latino guy on a date. A transgender person, or a black guy that looks like Shaboozey. And if they do happen to have any white people. It’s just a burley unattractive sassy white guy.

They never show the true reflection of AIDS, which is often actually attractive well to do people that have a lot of promiscuous sex.

I don’t like them putting that image on people that by and large are people that are more safe when it comes to sex.
