I think this is a benefit of NIL. Some of these foreign players that would have just stayed in Europe/NBL until the draft are coming to college.

I think more of these dudes coming over is in part because of the huge success of other Europeans, esp. Luka and Nikola. They show that the European can excel in the NBA, and you might as well start playing against American and other competition early in college.
