I agree, but sometimes team chemistry trumps individual talent.
You shouldn’t draft for fit over talent with the #1 pick unless it’s a player who plays the same position as your generational player in wemby

There’s many guys who can do what Sheppard would bring to the spurs without having to waste a pick

Stop legitimizing the nonsense that KOC said lol

Sheppard not even top 5

If Spurs pick Sheppard at 1, I’ll trust their judgement given the success they’ve had as a team in the past.

Bro they just drafted Branham, wesley, and samanic

Josh primo at #12
Plus the guy who did a great job over the years drafting doesn’t really work in that area any more. He got promoted and does a bunch of other stuff.

Brian Wright is the GM now, not RC Buford. Wright still has a lot to prove.

Id take collier over Sheppard and dillingham

Somebody gonna get a steal if he’s taken after #8 or #9

What makes u say this???
He has had some good games since coming back from injuries, but before that he had been shooting badly and turning the ball over like crazy. His 3 pointer and free throw shooting hasn’t been the best. Not to mention USC has been a disappointing team record wise.

He has the physical tools and a pretty good handle. He has also cleaned up the turnovers since coming back from injuries. The draft combine, individual workouts, and interviews will be huge for him. He does well there and it could move him back into the top 5 of this draft.
