MIAMI GARDENS — It’s common knowledge quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s time with the Miami Dolphins is likely coming to an end this offseason.


The one-time franchise quarterback who was given a lucrative contract extension two seasons ago but benched late this season has now indicated he would welcome a change of scenery.
Tagovailoa was asked by reporters Monday during the Dolphins’ locker room cleanout day to cap the 2025 season if he would like a “fresh start.”


He said: “That would be dope. I would be good with it.”
It was then clarified to him that the question means playing for another team, and Tagovailoa reaffirmed he would be fine with such a change.
