The Colts were put in a fucked up situation after Luck retired. Signing Phillip Rivers and having a decent season where they went to the playoffs was a curse more than anything. Set them on the path where they thought they could get washed dudes off the street thinking they can strike lightening in a bottle (Wentz, Matt Ryan).
Then once they realized that was no longer viable they reached big time on AR hoping he would be black Josh Allen… when he really shouldn’t have been anywhere near a starting job that soon. The head coach and front office hoping Danny Dimes can save them and even if they think at worst he leads them to the number one overall pick… theres a good chance they won’t be there to see it and there’s no guarantee Arch Manning comes out next year.
