This is what real fans have been screaming. We don't give a damn about being over .500. Like I said earlier in a post. I would rather be 4-13 than 9-8.
With the talent he had what teams do you think he could beat in the playoffs? Even the Bengals and Browns drafted better players. Steelers GM is trash while every other team got better except the Jets. They had a chance to draft better QBs and did not. Roonies are not good owners either this generation. So I expect Steelers to miss the playoffs now. No shot at McCarthy but his best days are far behind him.
McCarthy is washed no one disagrees. If your roster is good enough to get to the playoffs, a good coach can figure out the rest. It's who they lose to and how they lose is what bothers everybody. A lot of mediocre qb's and coaches have gotten their first playoff win against Tomlin, who was favored to win btw. That has nothing to do with the Rooney's. Tomlin has been there since 2007. If he had no say so in the draft room then he really wasn't the guy everybody thought he was.
