I'm assuming you mean more than in the past (and not - what would be insane - more than Shaedon). If so, yes. he showed enough last year to not be firmly a part of their long-term plan.

I actually meant what you put in parentheses lol

I wonder if Portland views Shaedon as more of a 6th man and if they're more invested in Scoots long term success and give him more runway

hmm never realized shaedon’s ast/to ratio was so bad

Not a good shooter either

also didn’t realize he only started 52 games (which is a high) in his 3rd season

I wonder how the blazers feel about him

Outside of his athleticism idk how I feel about him

I’m leaning towards fraud though

I don't really care, but i'm curious what's the reason behind this post? You didn't like when he bounced on Ulm to attend the draft?

I like him and Matas on this squad. I will admit you saw the vision before I did about Matas. I never said he would be a bad player, but I was very cautious about him due to the poor shooting in the G- League. He had a solid rookie season and showed some skill

What you giving him credit for.

He wasn't a big Matas guy, I was.

In fact, I think he was hating a little bit, but not as much as he typically does.

Smh @ you trying to spoil my Sat afternoon.

To answer your question, they better not.

I'll leave it there.

Man please the only thing I criticized Matas for when he was with the ignite was his body/frame and said he would have to get stronger

I then kept sliding him between top 3-5 in the draft and I slid him down more because of his abysmal shooting numbers with the ignite until I said from a pure talent standpoint if he can just be an average shooter he would be a lock for top 3 best players from his draft

Nice try lol

He needs to be better on defense more than anything, he was terrible on that end.....I can see them starting Scoot or Sharpe

Im interested to see what his extension looks like though

Idk about the money but I’m weary about “star” from sharpe

I’d rather have Tyler Herro on my team at age 22 than him

You somewhat came around as the draft was approaching, but you spent the bulk of that year criticizing him.

You even had Reed Sheppard ahead of him.

Let me ask you a question.

Was there ever a player that you like who wasn't already a good shooter?

No one -- NO ONE AT ALL -- who watched him last season would think take scoot over him as the guy going forward, although, as I said, Scoot had a solid year.

lol this don’t even sound accurate

BUT if it is there’s nothing wrong with pre draft analysis changing over time

Nice try

lol oh I got no beef with him I just think he’s way too raw as a player so I’m just hating right now

He’s going to struggle to score but with Giddey being there he will atleast create fast break/transition opportunities for him to score

Him leaving his team for the draft was messed up though
I know it isn't the best indicator, but Noah looked good in the Summer League and was overall productive in europe. The good thing about Chicago, is that he should in theory get decent playing time, but he is a mound of clay that needs work
