Lmaoo where was this said? He wildin. That's my favorite player and I'm conflicted on retiring his jersey even. Even though they should.
 
Feels like its a few teams that are kind of on the cusp of having a complete hange in identity or a new era for a variety of reasons

These three I find really in

Memphis - Ja Morant Era
Minnesota.....you got about 24 months left of Gobert and this version of team
Philly - Embiid/PG



Everyone else is pretty locked in to there group trying to compeye, doing a rebuild or stuck in purgatory

I get he was the star player for the Knicks but if never getting the team to the conference finals and never winning a MVP or was ever on an all nba first team deserves a statue then there’s 20 players that deserve statues

But no one here acting like Melo is anything he's not and online I see more about him being the most overrated player ever and not that he's the goat.

Im here to make sure Melo is properly rated.

Great player, that's it. Not an all time, not top 20 on time. I'll leave him in top 50 for now as long as players that dribbled with one hand are on it.

He deserves to get his jersey retired by the nuggets. For the Knicks he doesn't but retire it anyone cause thats Melo.

Should Melo have gotten his jersey retired by the Nuggets? Ehh I can see it both ways but nobody clamoring for the raptors to retire Chris Bosh’s jersey or for the Jazz to retire Deron Williams’ jersey so I’m on the fence of no

Plus the better player got his number so it’s over for that

The Knicks can do what they want as far as a jersey retirement but if you put Carmelo up there you gonna open the floodgates for anybody being there having moderate success and for a franchise like the Knicks you have to be more selective
