Fast forward and they the 6th seed

I can see it going a few different ways for them but just off talent alone on paper they should be able to get up to the 6th seed

They have some concerns though.....the big man rotation, Jaylen Brown coming off injury and his dad legal issues, the lack of dribbling/playmaking...what's the identity offensively and defensively?

Why haven't they acknowledged that they traded for Anfernee Simons lol

There’s too much in the air for me to accurately even say what their identity is

I just know Pritchard bitch ass is starting now

Who do you like more them or the Pacers?
Ugh

I think the pacers

While Turner is gone they have another year of development of Jarace, Jay Huff, and Isaiah Jackson coming back as far as a rotation in addition to Siakam

While Haliburton is out, playmaking is down but this gives more of an opportunity for Mathurin to step up and they also drafted Kam Jones in addition to TJ and Nembhard still being there

It’s still a more talented team from top to bottom than boston

Unless guys like schierman and Sam hauser go crazy I don’t see it for Boston

Right now atleast

plus atleast Indiana’s identity is still there to fall back on even with no Hali

They should still play the same

I agree with everything except foe the second part....

I like Nembhard and actually think hes going to have a big year and earn himself some money.....but Haliburton is their identity

Yes they have some foundational principles in place that will allow them to do some of the same stuff defensively.....but offensively Haliburton is the straw that stirs the drink, one of those offensive engines that just allows you to be successful on that side of the court because of how they play and the team feeds off that

I think they are going to have some real struggles offensively at times and just run out of gas

That’s fair but I think I have faith in them going into training camp knowing hali not playing

You said this like it's his fault he got an injury surgery wasn't perfected for yet then came back and tore his meniscus twice.

What we're not about to do is slander Derrick rose for no reason today.
Not slandering anyone, but I am very curious to hear what some of the posters on here think about this. We have some folks on here that would I'm sure have a very colorful take on this. LOL.

If it was up to me, Derrick rose would make my basketball hall of fame but not my NBA hall of fame

the league really should have it's own Hall of Fame.

Even NCAA basketball has it's own hall of fame
I would put guys like

Tim Duncan
Dwyane Wade
Dirk Nowitzski

In the NBA hall of fame

And guys like

Vince Carter
Jamal Crawford
Hot sauce
Rudy Fernandez
Edy Tavares
Stephon Marbury
Yao Ming
John Wall
Earl Manigault
Derrick Rose
Reggie Miller
Carmelo Anthony
The Professor
Marc Gasol

In the basketball hall of fame
