One is a better scorer, one is a little better passer, both are bad defenders, so what makes Reaves so much better?

Reaves is a more versatile scorer, gets to the rim, makes plays for others very well, and shoots better

Think about how you seen Reaves play for team usa

You’ll never see cam Thomas in that environment

Catch him in the Drew league though playing with Moses brown

Cam is a better shooter off the dribble, Cam can also get to the rim ⏸️ and his playmaking improved as he threw lobs and fed the bigs once the defense collapsed on him on his drives to the basket.

Their pull ups are about the same. I never said Cam was a good catch and shoot player. What are these other numbers about?
Yeah I their pull ups were the same last season so Catch and shoot would have to be the determining factor as far as value for shooting

Which player would you want? A player that can shoot on and off ball or the one that can’t shoot off ball?

2nd set of pics shows how much more efficient of a shooter Reaves is compared to thomas comparing FG% and TS%

You can also see stuff like free throw rate, usage rate, ast % and if you want win shares and offensive/defensive box plus/minus

Add all of that up and you can see why Reaves is a tier above cam thomas

They want Bam to be this generation’s Alonzo Mourning so bad so him being moved is so hard for me to imagine with this team even though this should be top priority

Also why I’m adverse to trading Herro over Bam is you can’t get out of this by simply trading Herro

You could with Bam though

I dont think you get out of this by simply trading Herro but trading him and Bam would give you a more clear direction

I think you should absolutely cash in on Bam and get a nice return

Herro I would cut bait and let somebody else pay him that money.....just not a fan of paying that player type, hes not good enough for what he thinks his role should be and even for how young he is I dont think he has a ton of upside, pretty close to being who he is going to be

Thats just me though

I feel that

I’m okay with getting rid of both but just saying if bam is gone I wouldn’t mind if Herro stayed

Think it’s less dire to move him once bam is gone

But I agree

Let’s break this down.

1.
3 point percentage
2022/23- Cam 38%/Reaves 44%
2023/24- Cam 36%/Reaves 26%
2024/25- Cam 34%/Reaves 31%

🤔

FG% and TS% does not tell the whole story when one guy is the teams primary scorer. While the other guy gets to benefit from LeBron and AD and later on Luka double teams. And if we’re taking TS and FG percentages as the gospel then Reaves is “better” than Tatum, Harden, and a bunch of other players.

I packed you up already

Debate cam Thomas vs Quentin grimes or white Donte

That’s a better argument

Is it just me or does it seem like over the last few years the winner of the ring gets talked about for a couple of days and then it's a mad rush to talk about free agency and the champs get pushed to the back page?

Bucks
Nuggets
Celtics
Thunder

Nobody cared after a week unless you root for that team. Lol

Maybe I'm just tripping.

What more is there to talk about? The job is done. On to the next.
