$38-$40? Yeah

That’s not too bad all things considered

Even if we signed him to something like that he probably still gets traded within the next 2 years anyways (should be bam)

Basically since I don’t see one of them on this team too much longer it’s fine to me

If both were to stay which wouldn’t be ideal I can stomach Tyler at $38-$40 because it’s not like $45-$50 mil

That's tough, I feel like neither Bam or Herro are going to apart of the next great Miami team but as long as they're there you're stuck in purgatory

Yeah I can see how you feel that way

I feel better about Tyler long term than bam due to age and bam’s lack of offense overall despite him being a 20ppg player

I guess that's kind of what I'm trying to figure out.....is Herro someone you personally want on the team long term regardless of circumstances or are you just saying if you have to keep one you would prefer Herro?

Uhhh both? I guess?

The appeal of Herro long term is he’s easier to make 2nd or 3rd fiddle to whoever you bring in as far as fit offensively

His age also allows him to be around for a rebuild for atleast 2 more seasons

Not really the case for bam

Plus bam is going to be making $55 mil plus soon I think

Reaves is an actual playmaker

He’s also a better shooter than cam Thomas

Reaves is coming off of averaging 20/6/5 as the third option

Stop making yourself look bad lol
I can accept Reaves being better than Cam, but not “A wHoLe TiEr BeTtEr”

Gotcha

Yall definitely need to cash in on Bam sooner than later

Herro isnt my cup of tea, I think yall could do sooooo much better and it wouldn't be hard but I get keeping him around if yall were to fully commit to a rebuild and trade Bam

Playmaking matters bro lol

Cam Thomas’ lack of playmaking considering his usage is disgusting

Plus even though hes not a good defender either Reaves has more size and puts in more effort on that side of the court

He's very good at getting to the freethrow line as well

Hes a vastly better and more valuable player than Cam Thomas

They want Bam to be this generation’s Alonzo Mourning so bad so him being moved is so hard for me to imagine with this team even though this should be top priority

Also why I’m adverse to trading Herro over Bam is you can’t get out of this by simply trading Herro

You could with Bam though
