Former NBA player Marcus Morris repaid the debt that landed him in a Broward jail cell and is about to go free, a Nevada prosecutor confirmed late Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, Morris was ordered held without bond to give the Clark County District Attorney’s Office time to arrange for his extradition to Nevada.

The gossip site TMZ reported that he owed a total of $265,000 to a pair of Las Vegas casinos.
“We received a wire transfer in the amount of $291,750 resolving the debt,” said Cal Thoman, Chief Deputy District Attorney for Clark County. “We’ve released our hold and we will be dismissing the cases in our jurisdiction.”
