I don’t have any expectations though

I’m playing with the idea of him here because of what he said about Miami this past season

Also you made it seem like I said he would help propel us to a eastern contender lol

I’m just talking about him in a backup role to replicate what Kevin love did for us when he first came here on a buyout

You play with the idea of everyone the news says is available. Its simultaneously funny, annoying and pathetic considering it never happens but continue. I'll leave you alone.

Swapping out Hardaway and Beasley for Duncan Robinson and Levert doesn't really move the needle at all....now granted they are getting Jaden Ivey back which if how he was playing before he got hurt is real is a big addition....and you get a full of season for Ausar Thompson

I still dont see how tbey build off last year success with this group because a first round exit is still on the horizon.


Obviously Cade is legit but who is going to be the number 2 guy with him? Its going to have to come via trade at some point imo

Supposedly they were in negotiations with Beasley then all his legal issues popped up.

I don’t like Levert for them though. I think Hardaway Jr. was a better fit.

Maybe they are banking on Holland, Thompson, and Ivey improving? I agree they should’ve been a bit more aggressive

Luka shit wild though. Mfer got traded to the Lakers and transformed his body in a week. Came out skinny as fuck. By the playoffs he was so chubby he could barely move. Lmaooo.

No one seems to notice that he seems to get out of shape during the season and make progress in the offseason.

Must have bad habits during the season (like eating late at night, etc.).

Idk exactly what they want Levert to do for them other than some additional ball handling in the second unit if Ivey isn't fully ready to do it on his own....I'm not a Levert fan for this team either but I do like him more than Dennis Schroder

Beasley and Hardaway provide a very specific skillset that Detroit needed

Duncan is terrible on defense and they structured his contract weird

Idk why they couldn't get in on Alexander Walker

Not the end of the world or anything though, just a bit underwhelming of a summer
