I agree about not wanting the stentch of the prior era lingering around but its not easy to offload that kind of money especially if your Charlotte you don't want to be so desperate to trade him that you're attaching mutliple assets to get off his contract

Best way to get him out of there is get his value up and hope some team talks themselves into taking a chance

It’s well documented on here that I’m not the quickest to blow teams up. Charlotte needs to trade LaMelo and Bridges, then start building around Miller.

The way that team played last season was so ugly to watch. I don’t know if that was the new coach’s philosophy or if he succumbed to the players wishes.

I hope Melo gets his shit together even if he doesn’t stay in Charlotte because you can see how good he can be if he played more seriously.

Coaching a team and guy like him is difficult for a 1st time head coach.

“According to people with direct knowledge, Miami’s intention is to ‘let our young guys show what they can do’ and see what this team looks like with Erik Spoelstra having a full training camp, with the Jimmy Butler distraction in the rearview mirror and with first-round pick Kasparas Jakucionis added to a core of young players that the organization believes has a high upside.

“The Heat believes it cannot accurately judge last season’s post-Butler roster because of the chaos that Butler created, a change in roles for different players, Andrew Wiggins’ ankle injury and other factors.

“It also believes all of its recent draft picks -- Kel’el Ware, Nikola Jovic, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Pelle Larssen and Jakucionis -- all have a chance to ‘be really good players’ and that at least some of their roles will become more significant, which it characterizes as ‘internal change.’”

— The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson

The Heat won’t waive-and-stretch Terry Rozier, per Barry Jackson

They will remain looking for a trade or let his contract expire and keep him on the team next season.

You tripping again. He can rehab anywhere that’s qualify to do so, the bucks aren’t the only once thats qualified to do so and I’m sure with the advancement in modern day medicine that data can be easily shared if need be or gasp he can fly back or someone can fly to him every so often to check and reevaluate. You have a slave master mentality if you think someone or money dictates his personal life off the court “within reason”.
He asked for a trade that took him away from his kids. Thats not the bucks problem or priority. Go spend the summer with your kids and report back or quit. Or get your contract stretched. Its done. We dont have to do all this wondering. He's free to do as he chooses and hopefully for him the next team he signs with is okay with that.

Shouldn't have hired a first time coach then. How is that Lamelo fault. Yall acting like he's a cancer. Brandon Miller was out most of last season and Lamelo was dolo with niggas nobody could make better so he jacked that shit. Pause.
