Yall know he didn't deserve that shit and would have your teams hire him in a second if he was interested. Fuck off.

Stop there. What are we doing? The richest person in Canada can't afford masai salary? He's owned all his mistakes and you can count them on one hand, if it's a performance issue then you clean house not extend everyone else in the room. I don't want to hear that shit. He's one of the best at what he does period. Performance wise it's dipped but it's not like something catastrophic happened. Our draft record has been impeccable we just haven't made everything connect.
I agree with this take

How are you gonna fire Masai, but keep everyone else? That makes no damn sense if it’s a performance issue. If they would’ve completely cleaned house it would’ve made more sense.

The whole situation is suspect as hell from the outside looking in.

Ed rogers didn't want to extend and raise masai's contract last time it was up. Larry Tannenbaum was majority owner at the time and made the final call. Rogers buys out bell media's share of the company and becomes majority owner. Fires masai.

When he took over everyone kinda saw the writing on wall or could at least identify possible friction. Masai downplayed it and said their relationship was fine. A year later here we are.

I hope Bobby Webster gets the president job and they promote Dan tolzman to gm. Cause I really don't know what it looks like another way. We've come to far as a franchise to go out sad cause we have an idiot for a team owner.

When it comes to these gms and coaches...its more about why should you keep your job more so than why shouldn't you be fired

If Masais role was still lead decision maker and having final say so on moves than he should be held accountable regardless of title

I'm genuinely asking about him specifically, idc about the shady behind the scene stuff or the rest of the staff

You don't think it's fair to criticize him for holding on to assets for too long and not having a direction?

It's been 5 years and there's still no clear path to being a top 6 team in a wide open east let alone top 4

That just an objective unbiased opinion from the outside looking in

If you want to criticize him get your shit off. You've been saying the same thing for 2 years anyway. We got it bro.

What im saying and what everyone else is saying is that didn't justify him being fired. The shady stuff behind the scenes matters whether you care or not.

I'm not even saying Masai "deserved" to be fired but to act so shocked and be upset like he has this impeccable track record or like things have moving in a positive direction doesn't make sense to me

Sometimes your time is just up
