Seems like you would just be doubling down on being mid and directionless while giving up your best trade chip

Not bad enough to get lottery luck, not good enough to be a serious playoff team


I would rather just ride it out until summer 2026 and try to do something with cap space lol

I was thinking of Booker more than I was the heat

But next year you would have

Kasparas
Herro
Jaquez
Dunn
Ighodaro
Jovic
Ware

Wiggins and Rozier would be gone and Powell as well if Miami doesn’t give him an extension

That’s a decent group of young players

I actually don’t mind this lol

Use a pick and like 2 of these guys to trade for someone next summer

Use the cap space for a 3rd or 4th option

If Herro wasn't on the team and you had this group while you were trying to tank for a top 3 pick I would be all for it....but this sounds like you're still trying to be competitive

Your Herro bias is showing

He can stay he’s only 25

He can be the 2nd option when the star comes via trade for Jaquez, Ighodaro, Jovic and wiggins
