2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

He turned down a contract extension in the summer. Mad because the Nets didn't overpay for him. He wanted to be the 1st option but brought nothing else to the table except scoring (which I admit is elite) and the occasional pass or two. I wish the young man the best, but he’s clearly delusional.
He turned down a shitty extension the same way Kyrie passed on the shitty offer.

Remind me 5th who exactly is tearing it up in Cam's absence???? He was our best player and the Nets did what they do best. They treated him like shit cause he was a KD / Kyrie guy. Case closed

Hes a victim of the new salary cap rules. The Nets would’ve gave him the money simply because he was a home grown talent who shown promise. The league prioritizes wings that can shoot and play defense, or a player who the team believes they can win a chip with and is an all star caliber player. They didn’t think Cam fits the bill, so they offered him a deal that they felt was fair for who he is.

Right now no one is really tearing it up, but we knew what this season was supposed to be about.

They didnt think Cam could fit on a team that has trouble scoring.
