Id like to believe that but they're not passing the eye test right now. I dont think they're a bad team by any means but they're obviously flawed. Maybe a healthy fvv from the start majorly changes some things. I don't know.

The Tari aspect is a big piece to all of this....if he could just dependable health wise that would help a lot

I know Bari is having a horrible stretch right now but I don't think he's as replaceable on this team as people believe....very few 6"10 guys in the league who can switch on to the perimeter and shoot(in theory)

We have some options depending on what we value because we do have whatever combination of picks, expiring contracts and young talent that a team would want. I honestly dont think we have to do anything drastic right now if we could just add a solid point guard and a shooter

I can see the vision

I know it would make a world of difference

Easier shots generated, ball handling that’s not Amen, which is going to bend the defense more, a more spaced floor etc

I’m only playing with the idea of Jabari because KD is there

It’s short sighted to move him I understand though because KD got like 2 years left but if you’re not trying to win then why did you trade for KD you know?

This ain’t a Trae Young situation where he’s just there for the In between years

This is contention and you are the 7th seed I think

That’s my argument for Jabari plus more of a return

But Tari could get you something to help out slightly for this year and then next year when FVV is healthy

You also can work on the Tate, holiday, capela, Jeff green replacements in the summer

I think we have to be proactive, when you make a deal like that for 37 year old KD expectations change and you cant really afford to just punt on seasons imo

Our young guys probably weren't ready to be all in and go compete for a championship but that the direction we went so now thats the mindset we have to be in going forward

Not saying we have to make an epic in-season trade but standing pat and waiting for Fred cant be an option either
