Jordi got put in a bad situation and mistimed his approach. They came out the gates flying last year with players busting their ass for him only for the front office/coaching staff to start undermining them with a tank. The tank should have been established out the gate instead of waiting for them to succeed only to pull the rug out from underneath them. Coaching and front office have to be aligned when you're tanking, everybody needs to know what time it is. Looks like the players can now see the situation for what it is and have lost incentive to play hard. They know the team wants to lose games and know most of them aren't seen as longterm pieces. Now he gotta go back and do the mental real estate he should have probably done to start last year. Its compounded by the fact they seem to have drafted poorly meaning a key year where player development and culture setting should have been the motive is being wasted on poor/mid players. Very salvageble situation depending on where they land and who they draft this year but jordi is now fighting an uphill battle.
