Really just going to come down to can Jalen Johnson and KP stay healthy


Porzingis going to eat playing with Trae Young but Im high on Jalen Johnson and what he can do for this team...even if he didnt take a step forward and was the exact same play he was last year but just stayed healthy that would be huge


If things are going well Hawks have plenty of ammunition to make a big move in season too if one becomes avaliable

Yea nothing in Mike Brown's coaching history tells me that he would enjoy playing a 2 7 footer lineup.

And Mitch is a really flawed player. So I get it.

Starting Mitch is basically saying fuck it were gonna play some nasty grind it out basketball with a slow pace.

I get why Mike wouldn't want that cause I also wouldn't want that.

But that's the issue with KAT. He is so bad on defense, that it makes me feel that's still our best lineup.

If KAT was simply bad at defense, it this starting 5 would still work.

But KAT being damn near the worst defender in the league? That makes it tough.

And then he wants to have games where he disappears on offense too. Smh.

I'm not hating on KAT. This season goes as far as he goes.

So I agree with Mike atleast starting with trying to maximize what we can do with a 5 out offense and having KAT run the offense.

Dont want Draymond playing heavy minutes at the 5 but I assume they're going to try to manage both of them the best they can

Probably going to he a lot of Post and TJD

I actually think Horford and Green can work really well together and be effective though

Oh I know Horford works in the starting lineup really well it’s really speaking from a preservation standpoint

I also think he would be even better with the bench

Its tough, kind of deep but not a very balanced roster

You have to stagger Jimmy/Draymond from Kuminga as much as possible which isnt an easy thing to do


I would probably start

Steph
Heild or Moody
Butler
Draymond
Horford

Have Podz, Kuminga, whoever doesn't start out of Moody/Hield, Post and TJD be the second unit
