Almost impossible to do unless he specifically asks to be traded with his no trade clause and even then he has input on who comes and goes, because if he says "im not going to report there" everyone understands and the lakers and whatever team trades for him look crazy. He's bigger than the program. Lakers are pretty much at his mercy until he decides otherwise.

He really should just retire at the end of the season unless he's willing to take a serious short. He's not worth the salary and commotion he typically would command and is just getting in the way at this point. He's not a player that moves the needle towards a championship anymore. Time to bow out gracefully. Its been a time and I'm grateful but it's over.

We needed wing depth and a backup pg to spell minutes while Thibs had these kids collecting dust :foh5:
