Players who are incredible defenders but can't shoot end up out of the league asap.
Right now him and Ausar are exactly that.
Mans shot 21% from 3 for the season and that was worse than what he shot the year before.
Right now all the potential is there so I get why they got to sign him but more and more I'm starting to lose faith in both twins.
It doesn't matter if you're the best defender in history if I can come off you and double every one with the ball and triple your best player on the other season.
That almost always loses in the playoffs.
I'd like to see him at around 30-35 mil a year.
That said, I understand why the Houston will give him 20-25%. The potential is still undeniable.
Personally Ive just seen too many players who can defend incredibly and can't shoot and a role for them is very limited.
I know Amen does more than just defend but not enough that id want to spend 1/5th of my cap on him.
