Oh shitOf course yall are. Yall got a student loan debt that yall only been paying interest on since 2005.
But yall still living off the legacy of being a big club at one point, so yall got like 50 sponsors and official club partners.
If the club had a coochie they would be selling that shit on onlyfans.
so we are not broke?

Brighton do not pay Baleba weekly wages of only £12,500
Manchester United fans think Carlos Baleba will join them because Brighton pay weekly wages of only £12,500 to the midfielderwww.wearebrighton.com
The £12,500 per week Carlos Baleba myth
But back to the wages Brighton pay Baleba. How do we know the midfielder is not taking home just £12,500 per week, as claimed by Capology?
When the Albion signed Baleba in the summer of 2023 for £25 million, he became their second-most expensive player of all time. Only £30 million Joao Pedro signed a couple of months later cost more.
If we take Capology figures as gospel like United fans, Brighton put the second-most expensive buy in their history on a lower wage than backup goalkeeper Jason Steele and 11th choice central midfielder Steven Alzate. Plain nonsense.
In terms of the Albion’s total wage bill when Baleba signed, Brighton paid out £146.2 million during the 2023-24 season. Baleba earning £12,500 per week would have seen him take home £650,000.
Does anyone honestly believe that a player the Albion paid £25 million for (the second-most expensive in Brighton history, in case that point has not been hammered home enough yet) and whom they rated so highly prior to signing accounted for 0.44 percent of the annual wage bill?
That £146.2 million figure comes from the officially published Albion accounts. In a sign of how wildly inaccurate Capology is, their own estimate of Brighton’s wage bill in 2023-24 was £66.8 million.
Even taking into account non-playing first staff, Capology‘s made-up numbers are miles away from the actual total the Albion spent on wages during the 2023-24 campaign.
More maths means we know the average Brighton wage in 2023-24 was £68,00 per week. Again, Baleba signed at such considerable expense would not earn less than one-fifth of the average.
