Yea, but he does not have that much innings left in his arm due to inactivity (injuries) in previous seasons. Getting traded to a contender will force him to pitch down the stretch and the postseason. This increases the likelihood of injury. Makes sense for him to ask for an extension to protect himself.
lol, he does not love u like that. Him and his agent played this well in my book. That’s why Getz was mad mad when he talked to the media yesterday.
